I've seen worse...at least the SH is FREE! I've seen many peeps that would want like $600.00 and then another 20.00 to ship.
I'm pretty sure I saved a set of them for my 70 442. Didn't know if they were correct or not for the Olds, but they only cost like 1.50 each at the time so I bought them. Duane Ps. The damn things are junk too. If your not careful during installation the caps will either dent or fly off. The solid stainless repros are so much better.
Here's his idea of a NOS 70 Skylark grill for only $1000 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-BUICK-...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item232052fed6 Complete with rusted mounting lugs, scratches and fading. And this little jem - 1968 CHEVY IMPALA SS 427 396 BISCAYNE NOS GM GRILLE also for a paltry $1000 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-CHEVY-...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item231e431340 I just can't understand it, does he know what NOS stands for. The worst part is he obviously sells this junk?
While I was in the Upholstery business building seat covers we used to say "There's an a$$ for every seat." I have friends in business that feel they can ask whatever they want for something and get it, because they only need one person to buy it. They don't care how many people walk by a part, they are looking for that single person to pick it up. They are after the most money they can get out of something, plain and simple. I also have friends that discount parts and make relationships with people. They figure out the price they can live with and sell it to the guys that need it. I always tried to fit into this group. Who is to say which train of thought is better, but you just have to laugh at those crazy people that love those parts boxes. I always thought the parts inside were what was important, not the boxes. For me, I never cared if the right piece came wrapped up in a newspaper or whatever. Of course I was looking to build my cars and not trade commodities. Duane
I find it interesting that this guy's address is a mere 13 miles from our good friend Biker Fox. His listing even have the Billions and Trillions feel to them.
Hey bud!!!! How's the girls?? What a bargain!! Lmfao!!! Well you know those Chevy guys, real deep pockets lol
JOE ? Alive?? Like I put up on here before. I used to kick these around on the floor in Final Assembly. At 30 per kick, I wonder how many thousands I kicked around over the Years. PONCH
Hi Big Jim!!! Yea I been doing my kitchen since may 19th, the cabinets are going up sat so I should be getting back to my fun stuff in a couple weeks. Actually the one piece trunk goes in the GS next week then it gets sealed, and the under side gets painted then back on the frame it goes!!! How you doing pal?
Hi Joe. Those must be some mighty big cabinets. It's been a long time man. Good to see the GS is coming along. I haven't ran a tank of gas through my car the whole Summer. Same old same old only worse. Good to see yer still up and running. I've been painting waiting for carpet install. I'm sore and stiff. Keep in touch buddy. PONCH
No way is that biker fox, he may know them, but it's not him. He could NEVER keep his feedback at that level. Definitely greedy like him, though. It could be his "honest" brother or best friend!
