I need a stock factory hose. It doesn't need to be NOS (although that would be nice). Used and not leaking ok by me. I can clean it up. I just need one!! No one seems to like to reproduce them. No, CARS does not have it. I have talked with them extensively.
There was a company that used to advertise in Hemmings that made custom a/c and p/s hoses. You could send in an original for a pattern and they would make one as close as possible. If I come across the info I will send you a pm.
Thanks Tim....only problem is, I don't have the original. Why is the 60 hose so much harder to get than a 59 or 61? Is it really that mysterious?ou: TTT!!
I already had one custom made. My only problem is, I have a suspicion that there is a restrictor in-line of the hose, and I need a used one, or something to see if I am correct. I threw the old one away after I bought the custom one....but I didn;'t drive the car until 3 months after I installed it. So now, I'm chasing a problem that I have no clue the solution. I am really stuck on this hunch about the restrictor. I'd hate to send the steering box to a rebuilder only to find that wasn't the problem.
I am in the process of restoring a 60 lesabre and napa seems to have everything or beable to locate it. one thing i've found out a whole lot of chevy,pontiac,olds and some cadillac parts are the same even the numbers.
