5 Gmail Invites Alright, google is getting tons of members and I have just gotten 6 more invites (one is reserved though) so does anyone want one? Just a few things #1. I need a complete email address, if you don't want to post it here, pm me with it *after* posting, this is first come first serve. #2. You must have your email cleaned out, the invite is only sent once and if you miss it, it's gone forever. If you're using hotmail or yahoo, clean out your junk folder because that's where it'll end up since hotmail+yahoo doesn't like gmail invites and throws them in the "spam" folder. #3. Please don't ask for one if you don't really need a gb of mailspace. If you only need 100mb, head over to yahoo.com and grab an email address from them.
it's a gmail (google mail) address, apparently they are hard to come by. You get a whole gig of space. From what I understand you have to be invited to have one.
Yahoo If you have a DSL Account with Yahoo (SBC) you get 2 Gig of space. I have tons of emails and i'm barely using 1%. It's ridiculess how much space they give you.
Gmail is free, however, it is invite only at the moment. If you get an invite and actually use the account, you get to invite more people. :TU:
BTW... How did you get the ability to invite 6 people to join??? I'd like to get my 2 kids gmail accounts.
Usually they give out one or two but I guess they want to stress test the servers some more so they gave out a bunch of invites to random people and I happened to be one of the random people. After you use your email address for awhile, the "invite # friends to gmail" will show up under the menu at left. If you use your account alot, you'll get more chances to get random invites than if you only get an email every once in awhile. And David, .
