depends on when his car was made, I cant remember if it was the 56 or 57 that had the master that was only produced for 8 months.......if it is the one I am thinking of be prepared to spend big $$$$ on a core and giant $$$ on a nos or rebuilt. I have 1 of each cores, and have seen cores go for $1100

I have one that I removed from 56 Special, 45,000 orignal miles worked perfect. Converted to front discs.I will dig it up if interested. Thanks Mel
Hey Del, I checked into things and found the 56 is the 8 month only master. The 57 masters should be plentiful. I must strongly suggest retrofitting it with a twin circuit master.
