I'm restoring a 57 Buick Roadmaster convertible. It is quite a project and the current condition of the car doesn't leave me all the clues I need to put it back correctly. It seems to me that I remember the cowl grill on Roadmasters is chrome plated. All other models are definitely painted body color. I can't find this in any of the manuals I have or any photographs I have been able to find. Does anyone know whether this part is supposed to be chrome or not?
