Its been a long time coming for many different reasons but its done, run and soon to be shipped home.
I flew up to the Twin Citys Mn to personally be involved with the dyno session at R&R Performance. JW had the engine there around 8am and it was bolted up and ready to run by 10. We made a total of 14 recorded pulls steadily making more power with each adjustment and change. First one came in at 663 / 670tq. Last pull was 707 tq @5300 and 793 hp @6500. This was without the vac pump operating correctly. Not sure its due to leaks or the pump is not pulling but it only did a best of -2.2 . with a correctly operating system it should pick up 20 hp.

That's great! I'm happy to see it come together.

Nice power numbers. That little Skyhawk should fly.

You could paint that ‘Hawk corporate blue and put it in the RaSabre…

There you go Denny Moore, maybe for old times sake you could work a deal with Steve and have a car to race!

Thinking that would be stretching the rules a bit.

She lost power at 34*. Picked up power at 32 and 30. added a cloverleaf spacer and got the last few HP. The pump will deff help

You're using a powerglide behind that, right?

Interesting....usually 34 is what aluminum heads like....was it maybe a little lean?

If he is still using the one that i had done, then yes, it is a Rossler powerglide.

    That's good average power,...with a 4800 5k stall it will stroke good
