    the car is gonna look amazing post more pics when you get a chance of the progress if you can cant wait to take our car to get media blasted and start on the body work :cool:

    That looks just AMAZING. You are making me want to go and look at a 55 Roadmaster basket case that's been for sale around here for several months..and I have two other projects currently. Must. Not. Go. :)

    I'm not a big fan of either black or silver, but '55 and '56 Buicks take two-tone paint beautifully. I love yours. BTW: Spell-check wanted me to spell Buicks as Buick's. Computers can be annoying.

    John a good Mate of mine is a bit of legend in the hot rod paint world, he picked out these colors for me and panited the car for free.
    I went back and forth on color then i just said man you know best paint it and boy did he.

    I'm truly blessed to call him my friend.

    The nail is ready and waiting wiring will be mostly complete this Tuesday, Wednesday of to the upholstery shop for a few weeks the back for the stainless snd glass and boom

    Yep
    There is gratification while you're working on it.
    the big payoff is driving it down the road....

    I went to PepBoys to get sparkplugs for mine.
    I told them I wanted ACDelco R43S. Out of curiosity, he asked what car were they for.
    He then asked, "are you restoring it?"
    me, "Yep. I've been restoring it for forty years"
