Spent a good part of the day messing with Google looking for one. Any ideas?

I think I have one from my 55 Special... I'm in Santa Cruz if you are up for the trip. It's yours if you want it.

    Thank You!

Thank you VERY MUCH for the kind offer! :beer

She found the problem, we were worried the tank was in unacceptable condition, being so old, when the car died on us and coasted to the side of the road. No gas to the carb when we knew there was at least $15 of the $20 we'd just given it in there.

    No fuel to the carb.

So we pushed the car home (A whole mile in central valley heat)

Figured if she started with the small stuff we'd have a better idea. If we installed a clear fuel filter we'd know if it was tank-lines-pump, or the filter or carb itself. So we stuck one in there temporarily. Filter filled up almost immediately with clean looking gas, and the carb was getting fuel again. It was simply a matter of the ancient filter, which when we later turned on end, dumped chalky silt EVERYWHERE.

Thanks again for the VERY generous offer! Ever need a place to crash on the way up north or some Buick or Mopar parts we're not using, let us know!

We spent the past hour at the 55buick.com site, GREAT stuff! Yours?
