Does anyone out there know what this car might be worth? I just located a 1955 Buick Super 4D Sedan for sale. The car is complete body wise, but the heads and intake are missing. Heavy rust on the right side of the front bumper, dents in the bumper bullets and each hubcap is dented, but no rust. Rear bumber has surface rust. Body looks relatively rust free. Interior is actually not too bad, and complete, with radio, A/C, all glass is good. I'll take pictures and post if anyone's interested.
Condition Rating Thanks for the reply Airy Cat. I would sure like to know about any rating system for cars and who publishes it and where. It would be nice to know where my two Rivy's fit. Ken Taylor
One source would be Old Cars Price Guide, published monthly. You should have no trouble finding it at a local bookstore. Their April 06 issued gives these approx values: 1 $20,000 2 $14,000 3 $ 9,000 4 $ 4,000 5 $ 2,400 6 $ 800 Your description would seem to be closer to their definition for a #6, or maybe slightly better. Keep in mind though, these guides are just that, they are not gospel.
