    Hello all-

This is my first post on my first day of joining this page. I'm hoping some of you experts out there can point me in the direction of a supplier of sheetmetal for a 1955 Buick Century/Special...rear quarters/fenders, rocker panels, etc etc. Are there suppliers of repro stuff out there, like the Chevy stuff you see everywhere? Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated!! Point me in the right direction...

    Thanks much!

Have a look at the "Classic Buick" forum, just under "Buick FAQ". There is currently a post on Body parts for a 56 and 57 Buick.

I have a 56 two door sedan and had my rockers, floors, and quarter panels made by a panel beater friend.

Occasionally you will see parts on Ebay, but they seem to be very scarce or some panels non existant.

Thats the challenge of doing a Buick instead of a Chev.

It appears some guys are cutting up parts cars for replacement panels.

Have a look at www.Buickstreet.com I think there are Links there to parts suppliers, which may help.

    Good luck.

I purchased some inner, outer rockers and floor pans for my '55 Special a few years back from a guy making them in Mass. I didn't really care for the quality-the floor pans were nearly universal and the outer rockers never made it onto the car as the contour was not even close. I can't remember the name of the business but there can't be too many shops in Mass doing Buick panels.
