My father is looking to sell a complete set of wraparound bumper guards for a 55/56 Ford and I'm looking for good places to advertise them online. They're tough to find, and it's been hard to find a good market value for them. Ebay has gone nuts with their fees and paypal restrictions, which of course means more fees. Anyone know of any good Ford forums to put these? Thanks!!
Bite the bullet. Ebay still brings good money even with all the fees and restrictions. Put them on with a high buy~it~now price and take offers. If you can't get the offer you want, look for somewhere else to sell them.
John, I hear ya, I checked the fees and it looks like it would cost about $130 or so on a $1600 sale, if I figured out the paypal fees correctly. These guards rarely come up for sale and the last set I heard selling went for about $2400. Check for the crown vic association, dont know if they have a website you can get rid of then there for sure.
