500, 600 700, 800 cubic inches and only 38-48 hp

    But what was the TORQUE number?

    Back in the day my parents had a 1977 Caddy coupe de ville with the 500 cu in engine...if that car made 150hp ..I would be surprised...one of the slowest cars I have ever driven

    and you think roller rockers were made when...…..try back in the 20's. my machine does a lot of old engines. quite a sight seeing how they did stuff.
    amazing what they did 100yrs ago.

    I like that car !!
    I think in 1919 the 38 HP rating was a threshold (under/over) for tax purposes.
