I’ve tried reaching out to him before a few months ago regarding other items and he’s never responded back…
Sorry Andrew, nothing against you. I wasn't very active on the board in the past two years due to some personal stuff. Kinda ignored the board in that time. But....im back. In regards to the cable, a 4 speed car without the speedo reducer, takes a 70" cable. The corvette places sell a repro 70" cable. That's the one I used.
I have all of this info from doing a bunch of 4-speed conversions. I have the NAPA cable number for the correct cable that goes on the passenger side. You can also get one from Inline Tube.
This is the one that I use in my Buicks and Oldsmobiles. They both have the passenger side speedo port.
Can you use a 68" and still use both clips under the bellhousing? I bought a 66" from fusick and it was too short
I have also used the one from Inline Tube. Pretty sure it is also 68”. The 90 adapter makes it easier, but most of my cars do NOT have the adapter. My 3:91 Oldsmobiles and 3:64 Buicks have the adapter.
