49 Roadmaster convt for sale

Did you notice the 49 convt for sale on ebay 2408489206?

It still has the Fireball 8 but would be a heck of a machine with a 600+hp 455 and a modern suspension.

While I do agree with you that having a '49 with the 455 and a modern drivetrain would be bliss, just start with a car that needs help in the first place. :beer

 

I could take it either way-- pure as snow or modified tastefully. One must be flexible in life.

It's long gone from eBay .
And this thread predates my joining the board.
