Craig, that can be a bad sign, could indicated some movement of the mains. What did you find about the thrust?

Craig, I'll be you main bearings are wearing funny also. Do they look worn in the front of the bearing on one side and in the back on the other side? Sounds like the caps are flopping around. A halo girdle should help with that if thats how they are if they are not too worn already, "meaning the caps"..
