455 Valve spring compressor

    Curios what the TA compressor looks like. I struggle with the two that I have.

    It's just a handle with a fork that rotates over a rocker bar,..you can make one in 20 min

    TA's is similar to this Jesel type tool.

    TA ‘s is nice because it pivots on a partial Buick rocker shaft and is Buick scale specific. If the contact point with the retainer were lengthened in an arc by 1”, it would work better with the piston 8 and 7 valve springs, with the engine installed and ac.

    I’m just trying to get all 8 exhaust valves out so I can install set screws in the A.I.R. holes of my heads.

    Briz, do you foresee the need of the tool anytime soon? It would be probably a couple weeks I would need the tool as free time to wrench is sparse.

    This is what I came up with... works on or off car and woulda been a little better with a slightly larger hole.
