I have found the problem in my #5 cylinder....After removing the piston I noticed the ring was stuck in the piston groove and while trying to (gently) remove it, it broke. That was due to the fact that it would NOT come out....due to carbon sealing the ring to the piston groove. Everything else seems great....I'll disassemble the entire engine, clean it thoroughly and install new rings and gaskets.... More updates later.... Russell 1970 Skylark Convertible 455 :3gears:
