I have a some 455 engine parts that I will not be using: used 455 standard bore pistons-forged with pins-new rings already installed stock replacement camshaft-new stock style timing set-slightly used These parts were in a 1974 455 engine I purchased. The shortblock was supposed to be a "re-ring" rebuild. It appears that the engine was not fired. $80.00 obo. plus shipping takes it all. Send PM with interests.
Put me in line also. How do you know the pistons are forged? Do they have a brand or part # visible on them? Do you have any pics available? Thank you.
they are stamped 2346P...I was told they are forged-someone can speak up if they are not based on the part number-but I dont know anything else about them. They look like TRW's or sealed powers. They are dished. I can send pictures if I get a PM with an email address. Again, the price reflects what I know about them. I watched a set that looks like these go for over $200.00 on ebay recently. I have no need for them. I thought I would sell them cheap to get rid of them and hopefully help someone out on the board (and clean up some space in my shop!).
