455 emblems

Was the 70 GS the only year from 70-72 to sport the 455 badges on the fenders?

 

believe that 71 & 72 had 455 badges also.

 

I think the 70 Lesabre 455 I took apart had them also.

 

Absolutely correct - 1970 LeSabre 455 also had the same 455 badges used on the GS cars but they're mounted on the rear quarters, just under the LeSabre script.

They are the only LeSabres ever made that used those badges.

 

100% correct, had a 71 and two 72 gs 455's, all that had the 455 under the GS emblem.
