I am thinking about getting a 74 455 from Jason Hise and putting 70-72 heads on it, I am also considering upgrading the cam and was hoping to get some suggestions. I was also wondering if I would have to get a different fuel pump, the engine I have now is a 300. Thanks, Philipo No:
Yes on the fuel pump, they're different. On the cam... I suggest performing a search here on the board for 455 *Camshaft*. Put a FRESH pot of coffee on, cause there are going to be ALOT of threads on this. :laugh: There are a WHOLE bunch of vendors DYING to sell you there cam Do your research, and find one you feel you can trust.:Smarty:
You can get them at Auto Zone! Then you won't have th wait for shipping....might be a bit cheaper too.
