Up for sale is my B4B intake that is powered coated machine gray. It has a fairly new Rob Mc aluminum thermostat housing, new 180 degree thermostat, and eight of the 12 intake to head stainless bolts (still looking for the other four).

all the threads are in good shape. The only thing wrong is that one of the carburetor mount holes (Holley mount). The left rear hole striped and I put a coil in by hand as the intake was already mounted when it striped and I did not get it in the correct spot (off by 0.050 inch or so)

    $430.00 plus shipping if needed.

I am in Louisville, KY 40229

    It sure is.

Because of mess Postal Service seems to be in, Carol and I sent out another Money Order to 4 members yesterday.

Payment for intake was one of them.

    Thanks for your patience.

Ok, since this is sold, I don't suppose it would hurt to ask why this manifold is special, compared to a Performer.

I thought they were almost exactly the same in terms of power, except one of them has the carb base moved by 5/8 so the hood scoops line up on a GS?

Is that what this made this manifold so desirable?

With very little work, it will out flow any other manifold that is made for the Buick in a duel plane.

It also has a close to stock appearance. :TU:

I understand there are production differences between an early B4B and a later one that make the earlier ones more desirable...if I'm right, what are those differences? How can I tell which one I have on my 73?

    Thanks,

The earier ones had one mount. Holley

The later ones were drilled for two different mounts.
