I've got a 56 Speacial, currently all original. I am seeking some advise on what direction to go on some new power. I would like to keep it all Buick and thinking about a 425, 430, or maybe a 455. I have been around Chevy and Ford power my whole life so the knowledge on the Buicks is low. I ike the sounds of a 425 or 430, the 455 sounds a bit common like a 350 Chevy. Are there any negatives on 425 or 430 to look out for. I see the gasket sets and other parts are more $$ than others. My main concern is availability of parts for these engines and what trannies will bolt up to them. My 56 is a 3 speed but I plan to put automatic. Thanks for the help!! CHagerty
