    LX is 65, 4-speed was not available for 66... Worth??? Complete bellhousing? Shifter? $1700 or so-

    Supply=1
    Demand=???
    I have seen quite a few requests for the bellhousing, this is the whole shooting match! What a find to put in a Wildcat (Robert) or a hot rod. Good luck with it!!

    Ted,
    You musta been reading my mind. :Brow:
    I've already got the LX code block in the car, but I'd love to have that 4-gear behind it.
    Also, having a spare motor to play with would be an added bonus. :TU:

    Yes 350 was a good price!

    For the bellhousing(lol)! Hope you get it. I thought I was giving a (running) 425 away for 400. That was my friend price! Let us know what you find.

    Robert, that Black Wildcat needs a 4-speed!

    Guys thanks for all the informationa and the prices. I think I am going to keep everything fo now because I have some projects I am going to use them in. If I dont use the bellhousings and stuff you guys will be the first ones to know.

    I do have a question though. One bellhousing is iron...and one is aluminum or magnesium. Are these from the factor or after market?

    Thanks Again!
    Hank

    All of the factory ones that I've seen were cast iron.
    All of the aftermarket ones have been aluminim.
    At one time, I had what I think was one of the old trans-dapt corp's units.
    They made several different styles.
    Perhaps that's what you've got there too.
    I sold it because it was for putting an old Ford trans behind a Nailhead and wouldn't work in anything that I had.
    There's a picture of it here;

    Thanks for the information. There was on on ebay that was like 1954-62 Nailhead bellhousing that was iron - just in case one of you guys wanted it or something.

    Thanks again!
