I have a never installed EXCel 12 bolt, 410 ring and pinion with bearings and ARP bolts. 10-41 tooth count. SOLD.
I also have new, Moser 33 spline axles I ordered for a 12 bolt. They are made to fit a 72 Buick stock width with the Ford big bearings and ends.
They have 2"X1/2" screw in studs. It measures, 27" from end of splines to end of bearing and 29" from end of spline to back blate. 300.00 Thanks, John. skylark 410 gear.jpg

OK. The word EXCel is laser etched on the face of the ring gear, wich is the same as Richmond gear. The numbers, 140 /B L008
On the pinion gear are 140 DC 2 7 93 Wich i'm guessing to the date code? They are new never used or installed!
I Know these are good quality gears and are priced at what a Guy could get a cheap set of Summit or Jegs brand for. Plus they already have ARP bolts! I will sell the gears for less if the bolts are not wanted?
The axels will be tougher to sell I know, because they are custom. If someone is planning to build a 12bolt for a stock width Buick, these are what your wanting. Thanks for looking, John.

I have a 12 bolt out of a 71 monty, would the ends need to be cut off and new ford ends welded on? Also have a 71 cutlass O type 12 bolt rear. Same, cut and weld?

Dan, I do believe they will need the ford ends on the axle, They are 33 spline and to get an axle with that count is bigger in diameter and will need a custom bearing.
Also, the monty axle width is wider than a Skylark, on stock terms. Same as Chevelle I believe?
These parts all came from a guy that was building a 12 bolt for me, after two years of waiting, I asked for my money back or parts.
He said, money was spent on parts and I asked for them. I gave him 1800 but, only 6 hundred was given by check. So, these are the parts I got back and he kept my 12 bolt. LOL! That was 6 months ago and water under the bridge now.
I dont want to hunt for another 12b so I'm building my 8.5 with 30 spline axles and parts from Monzaz.
I'm may be asking too much for the axles, I don't know?

Not sure about the 3 series or 4? I was installing the ring gear to a full spool. Do they go either way too?

Judging by the thickness of the ring gesr, I'm pretty sure this is a 3 series gear.

bostongsx, if you mean if it still comes with the ARP bolts with the ring gear then, yes. I built my 8.5 instead so, the 12 bolt stuff is just lying around. I would like it out out of here. This is a package deal, buy the gears, get the axels, Thanks, John.

I think my 12 bolt was from a 70 Monte Carlo and I was going to do the ford axle bearings, 4.10 gears, spool, axles, tube ends, from Mosier but I might make it a little more narrow and loose some frame or move it.

With a chevy 12 rear cut to fit these axle's it should fit the buick with out notching the frame. That's what my plan was.
