I know this isn't a streetrod site, but the car is a 401 nailhead. Got my 37 Special completed 2 days before the streetrod nationals in Louisville this month. Had a bad converter (new) in the 200r4 replaced 4 days before event. Charged the AC and decided to head south even though the car had less than 100 miles logged on it. Made the trip with only problem being my mechanical fan was too far from the radiator and ran hot in traffic. I am replacing it with an electric fan this fall. With the 3:23 rear gear we cruised at 1750 rpm @ 70 mph, engine nice and quiet. Even though engine was freshly rebuilt it used no oil and ran great. The MSD distributor fired the engine quickly in all situations! Looking forward to a little tweaking over the winter and more miles next summer.
