401-425 GS motor mounts

On one of my mounts the dog ear is broke off so can you use the back plate off of one the the other style mounts like a wildcat or Riv.in place of the broken one and send it to steele to be re-rubbered. they look to be the same back plate.Has the hole in the back that is coverd up with rubber.

I'm still waiting for SI to produce the new vavles. Everytime I call they like to tell me were going to start those in 2-3 weeks that was a 2 months ago!! But I still have to address the broken mount. take a look at your mount and then look at the other style mount other than that top plate I don't see any differance.

 

I think Pat, aka PGBuick, did that. He used the big car 4 ear mounting plate.
Either search his posts or give Steele a call.... maybe they remember.

 

just got my big body motor mounts and the back plate is the same as the the one that has the broken dog ear now off to STEELE

 

Yes, the big car engine side of the mount is identical to the GS. Works perfectly.
