What year is your trans and what is it in?Just trying to help as if you can get a little more info as to what you need maybe someone can help.I think a Hurst shifter should fit your trans if you have the correct mounting plate for it.List more info on your exact needs and maybe someone can help.

I would think that it was from a mid 70's Camaro... I need the shifter and the linkage parts -- just a bare tranny. aftermarket stuff is ok

Are you still looking? :Do No:
Buried deep in my stash are three milk crates and two buckets full of shifter/linkage parts. I should be able to put something together for you that will work. Is it for the transmission in your photo? What body are you putting it in? Bench or bucket seats? Do you want a Hurst or something original?
    Let me know. :TU:

To get a Hurst Competition Plus shifter to work on the Saginaw tranny pictured, you will need the correct bracketry. I ordered one years ago for my 72 GS and it has a bracket that was the length of the tranny and had 2 tabs that you actually bolted the tranny to bellhousing bolts through to hold it on. In the back, there was a sorta exhaust clamp that went around the back of the tail housing to hold it on there. It was drilled for different shifters. It was a goofy looking setup but performed well. My tranny was out of a 69 Camaro and held up to constant beatings from a 350 as well as a 462 and never gave up. I'd look on Hursts (Mr Gasket)website to see what you need.

I'm 99% sure that I have the bracket you described. I will dig into my "pile" this weekend and see what I can come up with. :Brow:
