I have been contacted about these and the only thing I get is this one. It has the straight stick post on it. I am looking in another direction. This one is about $14 I am still on the hunt .... o No:
Thats a 4 speed spark control switch. I was actually looking for one myself. The originals seem to have a flat blade terminal. The newer ones have a post. The reverse lights in a 4 speed work off the column.
I may have another source I have put in a call to this guy and have not heard anything back yet............
M&H Electrical makes a duplicate reproduction reverse light switch for 70-72 "A" body GM cars for $29. It mounts on the steering column, and is actuated by a rod that pivots off the transmission and moves a large gear inside the column. The gear trips the switch, turning the back up lights off and on. I don't know how to post pictures here, but if someone can help me I can show you what the switch looks like.
George, Both of the Muncie's I have use the old style switches. I can part one of them if I can figure out how to plug the hole as I am not using them. Brian
