4 speed Questions for 1965 GS

What Console lets did they use in 1965 are the same 1965-1972 ?
What shifters did they have do you guys have any Pictures.

We have a 1965 that never came with a Console just a boot.
does any one sell a Repo Boot for these.

Did any of the 65 GS car have a Tach if they did not come with a Console
let?

The car we have does not have a Hurst Shift.

It has a Black Knobe T-handle Rev lock out shifter.

It seem be the right shifter or Rev light in the Bumper

I would like to put a console around it not shure witch one I need or finding a New Repo Boot.

 

65-72 are the same 4-spd console ! Moz

 

The early Chevelle boots are pretty close, and are still available for under $25. The metal boot retainer ring is also repo'd and avail from Chev part suppliers.

 

The original boot for a non console car could be made out of pure gold and they would be cheaper. You are better off going for a substitute like the chevelle boot mentioned. The shifter shown in the link is also correct, so sounds like you are halfway there.! Good luck..
