Rip the 350 out and drop in a built 455 with an Xpipe to soften the exhaust note. Posi rear, standard wheel covers or dog dishes... Anything you can find to make the car look more "granny" is better:laugh:

I think a 4-door buick would be a great candidate to transform into a sleeper!:bglasses: do like smartin said, or I suggest to keep your 350 and build-it-up! Lots and lots of parts are coming out for the 350 buick all the time! Soon, you will be able to build that 350 of yours to make a serious 500 HP+, as of now, Jim Burek is working on it! The "Dog dish" hubcaps can also be called "poverty caps". A good candidate for a 455 is a big buick car, example, Riviera-Lesabre-Centurion-Electra. I've seen quite a few cars with 455cid on ebay go for only a few hundred dollars. Goodluck!

If your on a budget, especially a low one, then a 455 would be your best bet, a swap for the 350. You can find low-compression 455's on ebay sometimes for pretty low prices. 455's sell pretty cheap sometimes, especially a good low compression one. Add high compression pistons, add some advanced heads, and right there you'll get some major power. Just little things. Depending on your budget, since you have a budget, a 455 would be a good engine for your money, and when you get the money you need, you can build that 455 to be a great driver engine and a perfectly fast engine! with the torque especially! I'd say if your on a Budget stay with the 350. That's plenty of power once you ad dual exhaust, and x-pipe, and a 4bbl quadrajet. Then in the meantime you can save up more money for anything else you want. or a 455 later down the road. I've saved up alot of my money but i dont need a 455, i need to sell a car and then buy another one. Cody is that a 80's park ave or LeSabre?
