72GS 455 Having trouble with the back two barrels, I just changed out Intakes to a S-Divider and now the back two barrels won't open? And to be honest I don't believe they opened all the way before but they did open some.

I did check to make sure the throttle was opening all the way and it is. Are the back two vacuum? Could I have a vacuum hose wrong? I did check the small vacuum hoses that are on the left side (looking at it from the front of the car) and the linkage that opens the back two and all seems to be in order.

    Any help would appreciated.

On the Pass. Side of the carb there should be a Lockout bar that is activated by the choke... it falls down and prevents the secondarys from opening. Its just a little pin that connects against the Sec. shaft.

Check to make sure that is not "Stuck" in the down position.

When I went with an aftermarket intake, I found that probably due to it's ability to use spread- and square-bore carbs, if I wasn't careful, I could position the carb in a way where I'd bind the secondary throttle plates.
