    Hey all !
Been a while since I have been messin round with the Skylark.
I lost my original workspace and had to move the cars and donor frame . Then I involved my self into a new hobby....boating..lol
So spent last summer fixin up one of those( at least it had a GM engine in it ).
So in an attempt to start cleaning up the yard I decided at least to pull the bad frame out from under the body and get the better one under there..
Kind of a bad move in a way , I will need to get back under there if I decide to stay with the project, but I needed to clear some of the junk..
Not to bad , we used the engine lift to get the front on a 4x4 with stands and then to the rear . using the trunk latch on the body probably wasnt the best idea with the weight of the doors still being on, but it all held together for the most part.

I love playing with this stuff , just at a point where I am on the fence about how much I will spend on this particular car.
Working on scoring some quarter patches now, see what happens with that...so for now this is all the fun I have been having..lol

Basicly a backyard freshen up, I hate to say restore cause it will probably stop at driver quality. More of an original with possible mods in the tranny and steering where I have a GN steering box and a 2004r i was thinking of using...just hung up on the body at this point...
Just hoping to get rid of the holes and possibly experiment with paint and be able to drive it around to some of the local cruises, ice cream runs ...that sort of thing..lol
its basicly a result of wanting to chalenge my self with welding and body work, otherwise I could have picked out a better shape car .lol

just got me some sticker shock...I have never ordered anyhting oversized before...was not ready for those shipping prices..
ex. one piece trunk floor NPD 145 to ship,230 total year one ,same pan 125 somewhere around 160. to ship...opgi shorter pan(47") 110, like 50 to ship, 160 total..
going to reall inspect the current metal and see if I can get away with the shorter pan...snif snif:ball:
