Which versions of the Nailhead were these intakes available? Original manufacturers?

    Thanks.

    intakes/manufacturers

Several companies made intakes for nailheads. I'll try to list as many companies as I can with which intakes they produced:

    Offenhauser: 3x2, 6X2, 2x4-for all nailheads.

    Weiand: 3x2, 2x4, 6x2-all motors, 6-71 supercharger for 364 &401/425.

    Edelbrock: 2x4-401/425

    Edmunds 2x2, 2x4-264/322

    Fenton: 2x2-264/322

There was a company that sold "U-fab" intakes where you would weld the intake yourself and could make 4x2, 6x2, 8x2. These were steel intakes.

Other companies offered low production runs of intakes as well. I have a nice 2x4 intake for 264/322 from a company in Detroit. they made about 12-15 intakes for a dealership in the area.

Buick also made several intakes, they offered 2x4 for 401/425, I have an experimental 3x2 intake for 264/322 and have heard of other experimental intakes.

Hilborn and Algon had made mechanical port injection for all motors also.

B.D.S. and Don Hampton offer supercharger intakes.

I'm sure there are other intakes I have not listed but this should cover most of the common types.
