    Hey guys

    I've got a 1992 Century Limited with the 3.3L V6
I've lost reverse on the little 3-speed tranny that's in there right now, and was wondering (after realizing these are hard to find in junkyards), what would be important to know if I wanted to (or should I bother?), install the 4T60 instead?

You could probably repair your 3T40 for less than you'd have to pay for another trans. It's probably the simplest FWD trans made and parts are readily available for repairing them. Check with a reputable local shop.

The 4T60 is longer in the right axle area and you would need a different axle for that side. The trans mounts to the sub-frame differently, also.
