Hi out there, Over here in the U.K, a guy I know has a 364 engine with a badly cracked block. He took it to a cast welding specialist who found it had been very badly repaired in the past and is now too far gone to do any thing with. Aparantly the crack is between the oil and water galleries. Is it still possible to get replacement blocks, short engines or complete engines? The car is otherwise in good order, so he wants it back on the road as soon as possible. Any help or contacts would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave. Also can anyone recommend a good supplier of coil springs, that ships to the U.K, I need a front and rear set for my 73 Electra 225.

There are a couple of Nailhead engines on E-Bay right now. Log on to E-Bay Motors.com and do a search on "Nailhead" either in parts & accesiories or all areas. Secondly look at the Suppliers listed on this board in the "Sticky" at the top of Da-Nailhead. Thirdly you should join the Buick Club of America. Help is out there you just have to look for it.
