Well, heres a long shot, I am thinking about going with the aftermarket balancer Cheryl spoke of. However, I do have a real nice balancer off a 364. Would these be similar or should I just go with the 455 unit? Would there be much performance difference? Thanks everyone, Doug
According to this, they will interchange. It should be balanced to the engine though. That interchange was between the 59 364 and 401 engine. Cheryl
The balancers will fit, but you may need to weld weight on the 364 to fit the 401. if you are going from the 401 to a 364, you will need to remove qutie a bit of metal. I have never seen a 455 balancer on a "nail head'
