After reading numerus threads on here obviously you cant help but notice how much knowledge is on here. But what i find is intriguing is all the trick tuning gained from what i presume is a lot or trail and error. eg.......... Well I have built a few Buick 350's over the past years and I race them on a 3/8th mile paved oval in a 76 Buick Regal. In the corners I can pull the heavyer chevys and up and out of the corners due to the fact I have more toqure. Where the chevyes get me is comming into the turns. They can pass me down the back straitaway but I allways get it back in the turns and comming out of the corners. I run a 45lbs crank, I beam rods, v6 pistons, comp cams "mutha Thumper" cam, and a few other goodies. These motors are strong and will take just about anything you can throw at it. Whats the most common tuning modification? by that I mean parts/ combination of parts. V6 pistons would have never crossed my mind!!lol! <!-- / message --><TABLE id=post1779462 class=tborder border=0 cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=6 width="100%" align=center><TBODY><TR><TD style="PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px" class=alt2><TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=6 cellPadding=0 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD noWrap>towman250 Status: Offline<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_1779462", true); </SCRIPT> Registered User </TD><TD width="100%"></TD><TD vAlign=top noWrap>Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 3 </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- / user info --></TD></TR><TR><TD id=td_post_1779462 class=alt1><!-- message, attachments, sig --><!-- icon and title --> Re: Pure Stock Dirt Car???
