I HAVE A 69 BUICK SKYLARK CONVERTIBLE....SWITCHING FROM A 350 TO A 455 (BOTH ENGINE AND TRANS SWAP). ANY OF YOU OUT THERE KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO FACE (I.E. CHANGING WHAT ITEMS TO WHAT AND UPGRADING ANY COMPONENTS)? ANY INFO WILL GREATLY BE APPRECIATED!!

The hardest part is changing the frame brackets. They are a pain if you do not remove the lower A-arms. (Use crows feet and alot of paintence to remove the nuts)

You can buy the correct frame pads from Poston's or TA.

Make sure your radiator is very good or you have to up grade it also.

You do not tell what transmission your going to use.

A 350 transmission will live behind a stock 455 motor if not "hot rodded" to much or your car does not have good traction.

If going to a 400 transmission, you will need to change to drive shaft slip yoke and move the cross member back a couple holes as the mount is in a different location. I'm sure it also uses a diffent mount.
