   If you are on #1 TDC Compression stroke & rotate the balancer 4 times, will you be back on #TDC compression stroke?

   Actually you'll only have to rotate it twice
   Intake stroke....piston goes down
   Compression.....piston goes up
   Power stroke.....piston goes down
   Exhaust stroke...piston goes up
   Repeat..............4 cycles
