I was shocked at the shipping costs...I bought an SPX 455 intake and raw valve covers and the shipping to Pa was $70.10 I wont even go in to the shipping for the 2 1/8 headers..
They always ask if I'm transporting Cuban cigars anyway. I'm sure they'll be interested in a chunk of aluminum.
sent a brandee new TA 455 intake to Sweden a few years ago . he was in Binghamton on biz , meet him at hotel , sold . that's how he said he was gonna get it home . I kinda wondered about the metel carryon also .
Worst I think they can do is make me check it. It's not explosive or electronic. Doesn't stink of gas yet. Doing a favor, as shipping was $52, so $350 hand delivered is as good as it gets! Guys got a 54 dodge hotrod with a Buick 350 in it. Be interesting, I'll find out.
