Guys: I am trying to find a quality Hi-performance plug wire for my Buick 350. I am using an Ignition Man converted points distributor (to HEI) with a points style rotor cap. Dave did give a wire recommendation, but it is a grey wire (I need black) Anywho, YO has the following wire at a reasonable PX. Aftermarket ignition wires by LaserShot offer 50 ohms resistance per foot. These 9mm wires have an outer jacket made from tear-resistant silicone which is chemical and heat resistant. The Kevlar core allows extreme strength and flexibility.[/I] LaserShot ignition wires for 1967-1974 Buick V8 with points-style distribuitor. PART # HP37 - made by Holley. I like the idea they are already cut to length. (less work for AMP to do) Any opinions on this item? TIA
Whichever you choose, check to see if they will fit into the stock wire looms on the valve cover hold downs...my 9mm wires barely fit and sometimes pop out.
