the heads have a 72 casting number...one other asking about the complete...if it doesnt work out will break it up
Not to speak for Mark, but 350 chrome valve covers are typically just stock covers that have been chromed.
the headers are ta chrome I believe...not perfect but not bad at all, They are on a 70 350 gs right now in the garage, small road rubs on the botoom but for the most part the chrome as pretty good. I got the motor complete from a running 71 last week....The heads as I mentioned have 72 casting numbers but are the older no scallop design, Am going to try and take some pics today.
If they ARE stock chromed covers, then I'll take them, but if they are the ones on Ebay that look like small block Chevy covers, I'll pass. All the ones currently on Ebay look like this. I don't want to make my SBB look like a SBC. Do they look like this?
As far as I'm concerned, if they look like Chevy parts, they're Chevy, whether they'll fit a Buick or not. I'll pass. Thanks.
