350 INTO 65 SPECIAL / lookin' for info concerning headers into this combo - any ideas - both TA and Poston give me the same info - no fit , too narrow , looks like left side is the problem , right side is plenty roomy it looks . i think the 455 headers fit 'cause the engine sits up higher possibly , but they are a tight fit also . the stock manifolds will be ok for now (mild combo) but later may have to try and work something out . any difference in stock manifolds ? i even thought about taking sm. blk. chevy or mopar headers and using them in conjunction w/TA 350 exh. flanges but the bend/clearance issue near the steering column comes up - move the steering column ??? will the TA/Poston headers work if the steering column problem is resolved ??? You could have the exhaust manifolds ported. They won't be as good as headers, but they'll be better than stock.
