For Sale: Buick 350 and 200r4 trans, complete with drive shaft, all linkage and shift-works detent plate for console shifter. This engine is currently in my 1970 skylark and runs and drives perfectly. I am going to upgrade to a 455/TH 400 set up and would like to sell this. I will be keeping some of the brackets for my swap. I do not have exact specs for every height and clearance on this engine as I did not do the work. The previous owner traded labor with a friend who owns an automotive machine shop in Chicago, so he had only a typed list of what was done and some receipts. Here is what I do know or have paper on: .030 over 350 CI. main bore checked. Stock cast replacement pistons rings and bearings, crank ground but not sure how much under. Rods checked and resized. Compression check showed average of 150 PSI. Oil pressure is 80 PSI cold and 25 psi at 900 rpm idle hot with Brad Penn 10W-30. I am not sure of the oil pump set up on this and its an electric gauge. I do see a plate on the oil pump, no adjustable regulator though. Engine typically runs at 180 deg. Edelbrock 1406 600 CFM carb W/ electric choke TA 290-94H cam TA Stage1 intake manifold TA 1534a fuel pump 1 3/4" headers (not sure of manufacture) wrapped with heat wrap. HEI distributor with curve kit, light springs, Heads had 5 angle valve job and chambers polished and pocket ported as well as larger valves installed. New guides installed. Transmission 200r4 with B&M trans pack. B&M lockup controller, mounts under dash. Rebuilt in 2010 with eagle clutches and Kolene steels, red eagle band, billet servo, High performance intermediate drum, heat treated sun shell. 2400-2600 stall lock up converter, (unsure of brand) I do have the receipt for the transmission Again this was built buy a hobbyist who does this on the side as a business in Chicago. Asking $2500 for all of it.
I am interested. Would be installing in a 67 Sport wagon so can't use the headers or the shifter stuff. Would you consider 2K if I pickup. Would like to hear it run
Congrats on the sale Steve I would like to buy the shifter parts you have and possibly the headers. Please PM me a price on whatever you have left over for sale.
