It all depends on if you want to keep a more stock sounding idle or a little lump in your idle. If you get the 212, I highly recommend a 2400+ converter ....... works best with 3.23:1 and above, but a few of the guys here run with the higher gears. The 212 is an excellent street cam...... I still get 17mpg on the highway, when I can keep my foot out of the secondaries.

Which is better idle 110 or 212?

The 110 should have a smoother idle than the 212, I think they gave it a 20hp increase over the stock cam....

    212 upgrade

The 212 requires upgraded valve springs, doesn't it?

    Re: 212 upgrade

No, that is optional. It runs fine with stock springs. A good addition to the cam is the Stage 1 intake ...... they seem to make a good matchup. If you want something that is a bit more agressive than stock, the 212 is it. Idles at about 750-900rpm in park and 600-700 in gear on mine when had stock converter still in.
