Have you put the gears in it and put the distributor in to see if the oil pump to dis is straight? I had an aftermarket cover for a 350 and the dist would go in it unles the oil pump was out of it so it was scraped.
I purchased 2 of these and one is still on the engine that I am in the process of taking apart. No problems with it when the distributor was installed. I have a set of gears and a distributor that I can assemble to see if there are any issues with this cover. Will advise. Todd
No issues with the oil pump shaft alignment / engagement with distributor. Found the 2 oil pump gears for the timing cover that will be included with the sale.
