I am considering buying a 350 Buick (I'm not sure of the year) for my 1980 trans-am. Can anyone recommend any combos that will get this car in the high to mid 14s for about $1500 on the engine? Keep it simple; I am a new at this!

I did just a few changes, a cam and intake, alittle tuning and carb work....and it really pulls hard for a small block. Haven't run any times with it yet, but I am sure it is well within the range you are shooting for.

Hey, read my post on my 350 for sale... In a car like yours it should do low 14's cause of the weight difference.. $500 for the engine.. Put like $500 in port work for the heads and some headers and you are gonna do high 13's ...
