    dualqwad ...just another lost soul

If Tom doesn't want all of your nailhead stuff, I could use some intake gaskets.

Del, if you wouldn't mind splitting it up I will take the two #1371337 gaskets. The one #1396543 head gasket set & the MS9411SH intake gaskets. Send me a $$$ amount & shipping to 06906-1820. I can pay you with a personal check, company check, Visa or a Postal Money Order. Whichever you prefer.

    Thanks,

    Tom

robert/tom - will figure all that out tonight when i get home and let ya know the outcome . cost - shipping - etc . thanks . del

  9. DEADMANSCURVE

DEADMANSCURVE my first word : truck

first : robert - since tom does not want all the gaskets and you spoke up first for a set of intakes then i guess technically you may have the felpro intake set if you'd like --- but truthfully --- the cost plus shipping (west coast 'bout $9.00) will be a little more than if you just bought the set locally . i checked a couple auto parts web sites and you should be looking at $11 - $14 , it would probably be $15 at least if i shipped to you . tom is east coast and getting other stuff so its not bad that way .
second : tom - two steel 1pc #337 gaskets and #543 head set ( reminder - that has 3pc steel sandwich head gaskets not 1 pc steels ) and the felpro intake set ( taking for granted that robert will not take them ) $58 plus shipping ups/ground = $67 ( can do usps , may be a little cheaper but prefer ups ) . if less than that for some reason will refund 'ya . if a little over no problem . postal money order prefered . if thats all ok we can e-mail address info back and forth and we'll be set . thats it . thanks for the look . del

joe : here is 401 info - had it for awhile and really hate to sell but i can use the $$ for other project and its not good for it to just sit around ( lubed and covered ) probably . engine and trans came outa' a nice one owner 60000 mile 65 cat 4 door , nice old guy had it but he left his keys in it one night and neighbor kid took it and ditched it about 50 yards down the road and twisted the front frame etc . really nice lookin car - shoulda kept the whole thing . shorly after picked up an engine and trans out of a 66 ( riv i think ) for spare parts .
    block:cleaned,checked,deburred,bored +.030
    rods:checked,marked,mag'd,beams polished,arp bolts installed
    pistons:new cast fed-mog #69P30,installed on rods

assembly balanced and marked, dampner to flexplate
    heads:checked,deburred,valve job,guides,new kenne-bell dual valve springs part #KB10901
oil pump:new poston hi output #PE899713
    also new:poston rings,mains,rods,cam brgs-good ones
$2300.00 - includes all nailhead parts i have - extra block, heads, manifolds(not 66 quad intake-sold it),'65 4bbl intake, covers, starters, water pump, timing cover(good shape)nut, bolts etc etc etc.some of the "extras" have just been sitting inside uncovered and will need some TLC but all main parts have been stored inside and boxed or covered etc.
transmission:"switch" TH400,match to motor, redone by a good local shop using H.D. parts and set for firm shifts.new poston #PE3000 tq converter
$850.00 - includes the extra matching spare TH400 trans out of the '66.
    $3000 - all
prefer not to ship-can arrange to transport for gas $$+,or meet 1/2 way etc.
shipping $$ not included in prices if needed.joe-you are not that far probably.
*i think you will need gaskets/seals,rocker arm assy's,freeze plugs, carb, and misc replacements (water pump, starter, etc) as needed to finish motor.*i may have a line on a new K-B #113 hydraulic cam and K-B timing set if available-may want to figure $150.00 (?) extra for that if needed.
    thats it.thanks for the look.del
