I bought these on the plans of building an all out racing 350. Now I will drive it on the street and race it to test the engine. If I use other type pistons they won't have as much piston to wall clearance and won't where out the cylinder walls driving it on the street. I would use them if this engine was 1/4 mile only. I will take a loss at 200 dollars. These are used but not much wear. I got new locks from Venolia so yes they are full floating. I will trade for any forged piston .030 or more full floating to match the Hershe rods.
From center of pin hole to top of piston I'm getting 1.857. Pin diameter .9380. Piston Dia. 3.840 rings 5/64 5/64 3/16
Here is a pic of the tops of the pistons. As you can see there are a couple of valve nicks from those stocker guys running the most duration that they could get. They either found this turning the engine over by hand or maybe high RPM and just tagging them a bit. I was going to cut reliefs in them anyway in that area if I had to get more clearance.
