340 intakes will interchange with 340 intakes only. I think I've seen an Edelbrock advertised at one time?

The only thing I know of for the 340 size block, besides stock, is the two piece weber intake... and get out your wallet. John Eales sells these in the UK for the rover crowd, along with these, he is the only source I've found for oversize late rover (94+) main bearings.

The manifolds in the picture are on a 4.6 rover, but these heads are the same as a 340 (just made of aluminum, and smaller ports). I've never seen anything for the 340 other than these or custom sheet metal intakes. I have seen an aluminum 300 4bbl intake used with spacers. It was extrude honed about to death ($$$) but it worked well. Really no better than a stock 340 intake but it was about 40 lbs lighter. Then again, who knows, Offy cast intakes for some pretty obscure stuff. There may be some 340 unobtainium floating around out there. If the aluminum 350 heads and intake get cast, you 340 guys are set. For the rest of us, hopefully, there will be something like these manifolds cast for the 350 head, so they can be adapted to all the 1st gen type blocks, with a custom cam (and used on 350s, too.).
